At Wolf Group Security, protection goes beyond physical security. It is also about supporting the wellbeing of our communities and standing behind initiatives that create real, lasting impact.
That is why we were proud to support the annual Xtreme for Kids Cycle Tour, a remarkable initiative that raises both funds and awareness for Matla A Bana, an organisation dedicated to protecting South Africa’s children from abuse and supporting them through often traumatic reporting processes.
The 2025 tour saw seven cyclists push themselves to the limit on a 1900 km journey from Roodepoort to Cape Town over 11 days. Led by long-time supporter Garth Briggs, the tour was a powerful demonstration of commitment, resilience and purpose. Backed by sponsors including Wolf Security and the V&A Waterfront, the journey helped shine a spotlight on the vital work being done by Matla A Bana through its National School Tour Project.
What makes this initiative especially meaningful is that it is about more than fundraising. It is about drawing attention to the urgent need for child protection in South Africa and supporting practical programmes that make a difference in the lives of vulnerable children.
From endurance cycling to other courageous volunteer-led efforts, these campaigns reflect how far people are willing to go to protect children and strengthen the support systems around them. We are honoured to have played a part in that mission.
At Wolf Group Security, we believe safer communities are built through action, partnership and purpose. Supporting initiatives like the Xtreme for Kids Cycle Tour is one way we continue to invest in a safer, stronger South Africa.
