In February 2026, our Control Room Operators attended a two-day CCTV Surveillance Skills and Body Language training course hosted by Dr Craig Donald at our Head Office in Stellenbosch.
The specialist course develops crime behaviour detection and analysis skills by focusing on crime indicators, intent and tactics across a range of industries and functions. The programme included case studies, international video material and hands-on activities designed to improve surveillance effectiveness.
The training also incorporated elements of security risk factors, observation skills, psychology, body language and profiling activities.
Our CCTV Operators were taught how to strengthen their observation approach, recognise and read incident-risk behaviour, increase awareness of their surveillance area and better understand what to look for when conducting CCTV surveillance.
