On the 21st of August 2022 at 11h20, Supervisor Lungani Qhuba reported to control that whilst he was patrolling at the Clock Tower area at the V and A Waterfront. He noticed three males loading containers onto a white bakkie stationed at an area where boats dock. Supervisor Qhuba approached the males as they appeared to be suspicious. Upon questioning the males regarding the contents of the containers they stated that they are loading old oil. Supervisor Qhuba requested to confirm the content and discovered that the containers was full of diesel. During the investigation the officers and management confirmed 10 x 25 litres and 3 x 20 litres was drained from a boat. Security Officer Malaki Swekile contacted the Owner of the boat and it was confirmed that no one had permission to drain diesel.
These Wolf employees prevented diesel to be stolen from a boat. They were observant, curious and persisted by investigating the situation. They persevered with their instinct and prevented the theft of 310 litres of Diesel.
Pics attached on a certificate and wolf bag handed to the Wolf employees just to say thank for the good work.
