On Tuesday the 11th of January 2022 at about 22H20 our Area Supervisor, Mfusi Mdyike, was on his way visiting and doing inspection on our guarding premises in the Stellenbosch area. He was driving on Old Paarl Road, turning left on the R304. As he drove over the railway line bridge he saw something next to the road at the top of the bridge and realized that it looks like a person. He turned around at the corner of R304 and Sandringham Road. Mfusi stopped and asked our control room to call the police and ambulance as it looked like aa hit and run.
When the police arrived the person told them that he felt a pain on his chest and fainted, after which he was taken to hospital for medical treatment. If Mfusi did not see this man and came to his aid he could have lost his life. The supervisor that cares and observes. What a hero! He most probably saved this man’s life….
